Our story continues to unfold, with two additional resorts currently under construction. Our Midwest company now operates resorts from Southern California to New England. There are 17 locations across North America with plans for more. Today, Great Wolf Resorts operates North America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts. The company earned respected travel awards along the way. Each garnered rave reviews from families and industry watchers alike. More lodges opened in major markets across the country. On this strong foundation, Great Wolf Resorts began to expand our paw print. Resorts in Traverse City, MI and Sandusky, OH followed soon after. If they had a designated bar/tavern area for adults to relax while the kids were at the pool, I'd maybe rate this place a little higher. Restaurant was insane - beers were very funky/dirty taplines and all good seemed to just be fried/reheated from frozen and sold at a ridiculous mark-up. Staying in the room was the best experience - water park was just not fun, more or less anywhere comfortable for adults to sit (maybe their outdoor park is better?). Decided to go during a random mid-week in February and it was still busy here.
We booked a hot tub suite here for a couple's retreat since I had some credits to use up.
